I think most appreciated would be SFZ-they don't have the effects parameters as SF2 soundfonts, and there is nowhere on the web there is a large accumulation of SFZ files.

Many questions from Mac users with Garageband.  A tutorial for them would be appreciated, too!

I've managed to unlock some of the hidden secrets involved with sf2 files and Garageband. If I can offer anything useful, I'd be glad to. It's not totally intuitive, not quite "Applelike", but it's certainly doable.

Edgework-  Thanks for the offer.  I am a longtime user of Garageband but know nothing about the use of soundfonts in the application.  Could you write a brief primer, just to get me (and others) started?

Best- S.
